Nissan Juke-R release with 545 horsepower!

Not too long ago, Nissan released a concept, called the Nissan Juke R. This was based on a standard Nissan Juke, but had the engine and all wheel drive driveline of the Nissan GT-R. While we thought the concept was absolutely awesome, we never expected this to actually come to fruition - until today! Nissan announced on 5/3 that they will make a very limited run available of this car on a build-to-order basis.

If you thought the concept was awesome, the production Juke-R will blow your mind. How does 545 horsepower, and the improved driveline and chassis of the new 2012 Nissan GT-R sound? We think it sounds pretty sweet! The original concept drew so much attention, that people in Dubai were offering Nissan money on the spot to buy the Juke R... and that one only had 485 horsepower. Nissan already has 3 offers from high profile Dubai citizens and decided it's time to release these to more people.

545 horsepower from a "bone stock" Nissan Juke is pretty awesome. Image the possibilities when you add some performance modifications... even something as simple as a Hallman Boost Controller can add 50 horsepower. Add to that an intake and exhaust, and you'll have a 650 hp Nissan Juke, easily!

The Nissan Juke-R is living proof that when people speak up, good things happen. Enthusiasts need to let the manufactures know when there is a concept or a model that they want to see. The manufactures listen!

Interested in buying one? You can email juke-r@nissan.co.uk We don't have a price, but expect it to be over $100K.

Supercharged Nissan 350Z with 405 horsepower

The Nissan 350Z is a great platform. Out of the box it's a good road car with excellent characteristics and prime for the aftermarket. But this Nissan 350Z is a bit different. Under the hood lies a performance punch by way of a supercharger. Output of the 3.5L V6 rises to 405 horsepower to give the 350Z a solid performance upgrade. This car includes a full tuning package by German tuner, Senner Tuning and fits both the coupe and convertible 350Z.

This 350Z has plenty of aftermarket goodies such as an Invidia Gemini 350Z exhaust and custom ecu programming to safely push this car to 405hp. A fully adjustable coilover kit and 20" wheels give it a strong stance. The car has 20 inch wheels and sits low.

Nissan GT-R with ADV1 ADV6.0TS 21 with Pirelli 355/25/21

This Nissan GT-R with ADV1 ADV6.0TS 21x10.5" front and 21x12.5" rear is absolutely gorgeous! 21 inch wheels on a Nissan GT-R look to fit it just perfectly, and these wheels give the car a great look while not being too flashy.

Above is a rear side shot. The Nissan GT-R gets these wheels wrapped in Pirelli 285/30/21 front and 355/25/21 rear. Huge!

The GT-R looks like it's lowered on coilovers and the stance is absolutely awesome!

Russia is quickly becoming the home of exotic drag racing. This video shows an incredible 1000 horsepower Jeep SRT8 racing against a bone stock Audi R8 V10, Switzer Nissan GT-R with 850 horsepower, and a Evotech 620 horsepower BMW X6M. Unlike here in the United States, these races occur on a special 1 mile long track so you get to really see the cars in action.

The video is recorded in HD and looks fantastic.

2013 Nissan 370Z Review

Nissan is back with their 370Z for 2013 and it was shown at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show this week. Available in June, the 370Z looks much like the older 370Zs, but does have some slight changes to it's wheels and other small things that give it a subtle update. Some of the new features are LED daytime running lights, which have been made extremely popular by Audi. Red brake calipers sit behind new redesigned 18 or 19inch wheels.

We have added a video above so you can get a full 360 view of the car. The 2013 Nissan 370Z is easy to review, since there is not really much of a difference in the new year. Still the same 332 horsepower 3.7L engine, 6 speed manual or 7 speed auto. The sport package offers new shocks to give it a bit of better handling, but not much to write home about.

Bloodmasters Bloodbath – Nissan New Jersey Drifting

Looking for a drifting bloodbath? So are the Bloodmasters, a drifting group from New Jersey that drifts in Nissan 240SX coupes. They created a 5 minute video showing off their drifting prowess at Raceway Park. Looks like a lot of fun... most of the cars have no front bumpers, and a bunch of broken body pieces, so we know these guys are true drifters. Good stuff guys!

Nissan Juke Twin Turbo with GTR Engine Called “Super Juke”

The Nissan Juke turbo has received much praise and many new fans. People love the controversial styling, and the turbo all wheel drive platform. However, people want more power, more torque, and more of everything that makes the Nissan Juke so much fun. Today we learned from various sources that Nissan is working on what they call a Nissan Super Juke. This would be a Nissan Juke that is powered by a Nissan GT-R 3.8L V6 Twin Turbo, 530 horsepower engine. Wow!

Above you see a leaked version of the Super Juke, which has a wide body kit, large wheels, hood vents, and special spoiler wings.

Honestly, I don't think this is going to make mass production. It will either be a concept, or is going to be released in super low quantities. My guess is the Juke platform can't handle the torque the 3.8L V6 Twin Turbo puts out, so would need modifications to keep the chassis from flexing and twisting. Due to this, it wouldn't make sense for Nissan to mass produce this, but who knows, maybe they will prove me wrong and do it any way.

Toy Truck Towing Nissan

Absolutely incredible! This R/C Toy Truck has enough torque to pull a Nissan SUV! I was amazed when I saw the video, and needless to say, I really want one now :) I don't know the specifics on this particular radio controlled truck, but it looks to have some kind of gas/diesel engine as it smokes from the tailpipes as it pulls this Nissan.

Not only is it towing the Nissan, but it's also towing the lady who is controlling it. She's standing on the back of the toy truck!

Simply awesome. Anyone know what the specs are on this truck?

VIDEO: GT-R vs Escalade Twin Turbo

If you happen to have a Cadillac Escalade and are sick and tired of being slower than a Nissan GT-R, Hennessey has your solution. Introducing the Twin Turbo Escalade making 1000 horsepower. At 6000 lbs, this Escalade still manages a 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and runs the quarter mile in 11.3@124. Check out the video:

Ok, sure... the Escalade here does beat the stock GT-R in a straight line, but there is much more to the GT-R than straight line performance and the Escalade match up here is more for fun than a serious competitor to the GT-R.

Here are the full specs on the Escalade Twin Turbo:

Power:
• 1008 bhp @ 5,900 rpm
• 967 lb-ft torque @ 3,700 rpm

Performance:
• 0 - 60 mph: 3.3 sec.
• 11.3 sec. @ 124 mph
Performance figures are based on the 2011 Cadillac Escalade running on 93 octane fuel. Other truck and SUV performance numbers may vary due to the size and weight of the vehicle.
