Lightweight and Performance Flywheels

Most stock flywheels are heavy cast iron and are designed for optimum driveability by storing some of the engine's power in teh form of inertia.  Light flywheels provide significantly improved engine response and acceleration by compromising driveability.  The compromised driveability is usually minor, but can be significant if the flywheel is extremely lightweight.
